*PROJECT DIRECTOR* The Behavioral Sciences Research Institute at University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus (BSRI) is seeking an experienced Project Director for a full-time position in a longitudinal study.
As Project Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of a research project from initiation to completion.
The tasks of the day-to-day management and coordination include overseeing contracting and programmatic management of services, supervising a team of staff, and relationship building with NIH funders and stakeholders.
In collaboration with the principal investigators (PIs), you will implement programs and strategies aligned with funding requirements, community needs, and stakeholder input.
Interest and prior experience directing or participating in research studies is desirable.
_*Essential Functions*_ * Support PIs in implementing research projects, including deputizing when needed.
* Manage day-to-day research activities, including reporting, budgeting, and project tracking.
* Coordinate data collection efforts and supervise study progress according to protocol.
* Oversee study operations, contribute to reports, and handle IRB-related tasks.
* Collaborate on compiling study protocols.
* Address administrative issues and liaise with stakeholders and project personnel.
* Prepare and submit reports to funders and stakeholders.
* Support data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
* Supervise team members and manage their development.
* Organize project events and facilitate clear communication within the team.
* Participate in professional activities such as authoring manuscripts and attending meetings.
* Assist grant project teams with management and reporting.
* Coordinate grant and contract financial management.
* Travel to other locations for research-related needs.
_*QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE *_ * Minimum of a Master's degree public health, epidemiology, healthcare, human services, social sciences or related field is required * 2+ years' experience in behavioral/social research or clinical research.
* Proficiency in project management and data analysis.
* Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
* Diplomatic with strong decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work independently and lead teams.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.
00 per hour Experience level: * 2 years Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Behavioral Social Research/Clinical Research: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
