Description:
Collaborates with all members of the health care delivery team to enhance the provision of patient care services and safety from admission to discharge.
Functions as the lead member and supervisor of the care coordination team to ensure high quality patient care, appropriate length of stay, excellent resource utilization, and ensure reimbursement for services rendered.
Adjusts assignment of staff to assure coverage.
Serves as a resource to the hospital for utilization management issues.
Estimated salary range for this position is $87713.

Qualifications:
Degrees: Bachelors Licenses & Certifications: CCMC Case Manager Nursing Case Management Certification Registered Nurse Additional Qualifications: Experience in UR Case Management or Quality Management.
Knowledge of reimbursement principles, discharge planning process, InterQual and/or Milliman criteria.
Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to deal effectively with coworkers and medical staff.
Demonstrates leadership ability, professionalism and integrity.
Nursing Case Management (CMGT-BC) or Certified Case Manager (CCM).
Certification required or obtained within 1 year.
Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
