Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry in Puerto Rico is looking for an Clinical Project Manager.
Job Summary
Responsible for the management, administration, strategy, and leadership of various projects to deliver them on time, within the established budget, quality, scope, and expected customer satisfaction in compliance with the company's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Manages projects in compliance with the policies, standards, and procedures established by the EPMO to ensure the successful completion of projects, that they comply with applicable regulations, and the achievement of objectives and goals assigned to the EPMO.
Develops and/or participates in defining the scope of each project, deliverables, and milestones and ensures that all relevant stakeholders are involved and committed.
Proactively manages the scope to ensure that what has been agreed upon is delivered and that any changes are documented and approved through the change management process established by the EPMO Methodology.
Establishes and monitors the compliance with a detailed work plan for each project which consists of the corresponding implementation phases, projected dates for completion of each step or phase, resources to be employed, process owners, and documentation of the status of each step or phase, including but not limited to the following efforts:
Ensuring the availability and allocation of human or technological resources.
Coordinates and/or leads meetings with internal and third-party resources to assign, monitor, document, update and assist in project phases, as well as facilitates the search for alternative solutions to achieve the execution of each project.
Establishes and maintains good relationships with all project stakeholders, including third parties, vendors, and/or suppliers.
Identifies, develops, reviews, discusses, approves, and/or adjusts communication for projects.
Develops detailed project phase status plans and monitors the progress of projects.
Creates, maintains, and stores, in full and on an ongoing basis, all project documentation in the EPMO's digital project repository.
Controls the management of project scope, time, quality, and cost changes using appropriate tools and techniques for evaluation and acceptance.
Establishes corrective actions to mitigate any situations, deviations, or variations from the project plan.
Measures, monitors, interprets, and evaluates project performance.
Keeps all project stakeholders informed to take appropriate actions.
Reports to management on project performance, results, and effectiveness, identified failures or non-compliances, as well as needs for development and/or corrective actions towards processes, operations, and/or personnel, when necessary.
Ensures that potential risks are identified, analyzed, and addressed promptly.
Seeks to keep all project management knowledge and skills up to date through standard practices, principles, and methodologies in the project management discipline.
Complies fully and consistently with the company's standards, policies, and procedures, in conjunction with local and federal laws applicable to our industry, business, and employment practices.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, by the education and experience requirements contained in this document.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or directing highly complex projects in the areas of business, implementation, infrastructure, data structures, and/or software and web development technologies, preferably in the Health Insurance Industry.
Certifications / Licenses: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.
Other: Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Project, project management methodologies, principles, and standards such as PMI, PRINCE, and CompTIA, among others.
