What we’re looking for: An operations manager capable of leading a dynamic, international team in a remote work environment.
Red Hot’s Operations Team is responsible for all of Red Hot’s back office support: finance & accounting, sales tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, AP & AR, internal audits and compliance measures, reputation management, talent acquisition support, merchant account management, and any other back office support that’s needed.
The operation team’s mission is critical in supporting the ongoing success of all of Red Hot’s other teams.
You can look at the operation team as our “air traffic control” function that keeps everything running smoothly.
What you’ll do: Lead, manage, and grow a team of operations professionals (currently 4 people).
Maintain and improve operations dashboards and reporting.
Manage and improve operations systems and processes.
Work directly with the CEO to understand business strategy and translate strategic goals into operations, policies, procedures and systems.
Work with the CEO to identify high potential operational team members and plan for career development, advancement, and succession.
Anticipate the evolving needs of Red Hot’s teams and lead the operations team to fulfill those needs.
Work cross functionally with other teams to spot opportunities for improvement of both operations and the overall business.

We’re looking for someone capable of staying in tune with the evolving needs of the company, who can quickly adapt by designing and implementing solutions that leverage our human capital (and technology) to fulfill the current and future needs of the company.
And who can effectively communicate these changes within people in the organization.
What skills are we looking for? “Must Haves” Possess expert level skills in Microsoft Excel and pivot tables.
Have familiarity with data systems and logic.
Be able to manage people, set expectations, and hold people accountable.
Communicate effectively via written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Experience working with accountants, CPA’s and bookkeepers.
Experience managing multiple vendor relationships (eg: merchant processors, fulfillment centers, manufacturers).
Take on new (and unfamiliar) problems and solve them.
“Nice to haves” Experience with working with merchant processors.
Familiarity with data science Previous experience working in a DTC or online advertising company Compensation & Benefits $45,000 – $90,000 USD per year base salary (could be higher for the RIGHT candidate).

Are you the ideal candidate? The ideal candidate is both people and technology focused.
And should have a background in managing back office operations for an e-commerce company, digital advertising agency, or an organization that functions similarly.
However, we are open to speaking with any candidate that has a proven track record in coming into a growing (and sometimes chaotic) company, managing people from different countries, and thinking systematically to engineer solutions that fulfill the evolving needs of the business.
