A Day in the Life
Shift: Saturday & Sunday (4:00AM to 12:15PM)
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (8:45PM to 5:00AM)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
In conjunction with Supervisor ensures appropriate number of employees are in work cell.
Verifies the employees are certified to perform the operations in their standardized work.
Provides short-term coverage of employee in work cell and supports while required
In partnership with Project Manager/Supervisor agrees to daily schedule/activities and provide feedback as appropriate to help maintain level operations and ensure schedule is achieved.
Continuously observes and report the performance of each cell.
Responds to abnormalities identified by the employee in a timely manner.
Communicates and escalate any abnormality immediately.
Promptly escalates to appropriate support team (tier system) to ensure issues are resolved and enable production activity to return to normal.
Creates flexibility by identifying knowledge gaps on skills and techniques and certifying employees to required work steps.
Maintain training matrix based on project needs.
Encourage cooperation and commitment within team to achieve goals
Good knowledge of Global Factory Works, Pentaho, SAP (including reporting) and Excel.
Maintain excellent interpersonal relations with employees, piers and supporting team.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

Experience with KPI's
Cell Operation System Knowledge (Subsystems)
