Now hiring bartender/manager for new distillery bar/restaurant concept in Tavernier.
This position combines bartending shifts ($8.
98/hr plus tips) with floor manager shifts (up to $25/hr).
This is a part to full time role.
Bartender shifts: pouring beer and cocktails, lots of interaction with guests, cleaning and stocking your bar
Manager shifts: backstopping the bar and staff, organizing/cleaning/putting away, posting to social media, making sure everyone stays busy, lots more interaction with guests, handling issues with food and beverage service, staying calm under pressure
You must:
- Care about every aspect of the guest experience
- Know how to keep yourself busy, multitask, problem solve, and pay attention to detail
- Appreciate structure and be able to follow and contribute to ongoing projects
- Have reliable housing and transportation and ability to get to work on time regardless of traffic
- Be able to work long hours on your feet (this is not a sit down in an office type of manager)
- Love leading and motivating a team even when it's hard
