_*Job Summary:*_
The Operations Manager position coordinates the production activities of workers responsible for selecting and loading products and preparing them for same-day delivery on the island.
This position is accountable for clear, timely communication and paperwork during the “full cycle” of the process (from purchase order generation to product return).
Responsible for all inventories conducted at Merchants OPCO.
This includes inventory counts, issues, and research.
_*Essential Functions:*_
• Assists General Manager by identifying work procedures; prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Monitors and manages the performance of staff.
• Ensures accuracy of orders for delivery.
• Interfaces with the General Manager to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedules.
• Supervise operations in dry, freezer, chill, and production.
• Plans and coordinates work; trains and motivates, monitors, and evaluates the performance of warehouse and receiving associates.
_*Required Education and Experience: *_
• High School diploma
• Prior purchasing experience, preferably in a food distribution environment
• Microsoft Office skills

• Able to work in an office environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
