Including, but not limited to compliance with all local, state, federal and accrediting body rules, regulations, and standards, maintain and enhance a therapeutic environment promoting independence and quality of life for all residents.
*Essential Job Duties:* * Under the direction of the Senior Director of Health Services, assures compliance with all applicable local, state, federal and accrediting body rules, regulations, and standards.
* Provides oversight of the implementation of performance improvement and quality assurance measures to ensure quality of care and compliance with AHCA rules and regulations.
* Develops and administers the operating budget for the Assisted Living and Memory Support departments and is accountable for the actual expenditures in comparison to the budget.
Assumes twenty-four-hour responsibility and accountability for services provided in each department.
* Directly responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care needed and provided to the residents.
Coordinates the care of the resident so they receive the personal care, therapies, and recreation, required/needed.
* Supports Nursing Supervisors and other associates by assisting with resident medical emergency calls in addition to resident and family concerns.
* Makes rounds throughout shifts to all the residents to evaluate their immediate physical conditions.
* Supervises rehabilitation procedures, such as body alignment and bed positioning, transfer activities, range of motion, bowel and bladder training, and skin and pressure sore care.
* Monitors administration of medications and treatments as prescribed.

S), gives treatments and performs other professional services ordered or required as necessary.
* Initiates nursing care plans as required and makes provision for updating each plan at least monthly.
Use care plan as required for shift-to-shift report.
* Responsible for initial assessment on new admissions and whenever there is a change in their health status alongside nurses.
* Responsible for resident admissions and return from leave of absences including following through on the completion of evaluations, 1823s, MOR set up and plan of care development.
* Records pertinent facts about each resident in his/her medical records as indicated and documents showing progress or deterioration at designated intervals as indicated by policy.
* Investigates incident reports and proceeds with the appropriate plan of action.
* Handles resident/guardian complaints in a professional, conscientious manner and initiates any necessary corrective action and reports to the Senior Director of Health Services.
* Provide support, comfort, and reassurance to resident and family/significant other regarding the care giving needs of the resident.
Encourage family involvement whenever possible.
* Regularly participates in family/caregiver conferences quarterly or as needed as well as Case Conferences for assisted living and maintains communication with all team members to facilitate continuity of care.
* Oversees the coordination and communication with health care providers (physicians, therapists, case managers), families and responsible parties of residents.
* Plans and implements in-service training, systems, processes, and other needs as requested by senior management.
Attends departmental education and all required in-service training/education.
* Provide resources, support, and supervision of all health services associates by interacting, counseling and disciplining associates as needed.
* Participates in weekend Manager on Duty rotation and assigned duties.
* Perform other duties as required.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
* Graduate of two-year accredited RN program preferred.
* AL CORE certification preferred; willing and able to acquire within the first 90 days of employment .
* One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
