Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events for the organization
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of events
- Manage event budgets and track expenses
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown
- Coordinate catering services and menu selection for events
- Provide excellent guest services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop event concepts and themes
- Manage event timelines and ensure all activities are executed on schedule
- Handle event registration, ticket sales, and attendee management
- Assist in marketing and promoting events to target audiences
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event management or related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with catering services and menu planning
- Understanding of guest services principles and practices
- Proficiency in using event management software or tools
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Note: Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, hotel, or banquet industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of contract negotiation and management is a plus.
