Dance Teacher

*Daily Schedule is 7:30am - 9:15am* Dance Instructor Duties: - Develop and implement dance curriculum for various age groups and skill levels - Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines to students - Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills - Plan and organize dance recitals and performances - Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students - Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules and events - Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of dance Qualifications: - Previous experience as a dance instructor or in a related role - Strong knowledge of various dance styles, techniques, and terminology - Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages and skill levels - Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, events, and performances Skills: - Curriculum development: Ability to create structured dance programs that align with learning objectives.
- Preschool: Experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Childcare: Knowledge of child development principles and experience in providing care for children.
- Special education: Understanding of special education needs and strategies for teaching students with disabilities.
- Classroom management: Ability to maintain discipline, create a positive learning environment, and manage student behavior.
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
