*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a passionate and experienced TV Production and Communications Teacher to join our dedicated faculty.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in television production, broadcasting, and communications, with the ability to inspire and educate students in these areas.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that cover the fundamentals of TV production, broadcasting, and communications.
* Create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
* Instruct students in the operation of equipment used in TV production, including cameras, editing software, and other relevant tools.
* Guide students in the planning and execution of various media projects, such as news broadcasts, documentaries, and promotional videos.
* Foster effective communication skills, both verbal and written, emphasizing the importance of clear and impactful messaging.
* Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to integrate relevant topics into the curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in communications, Broadcasting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven experience in TV production, with a portfolio showcasing previous work, if possible.
* Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and software used in television production.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and pursue careers in media and communications.
* Teaching certification is a plus.
