*Job Description: Middle School Technology Teacher (Hybrid) - Bayamon, Puerto Rico*
*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Middle School Technology Teacher to join our educational team in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
This hybrid role involves teaching students on Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, along with Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, focusing on technology and its applications in today's world.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Develop and deliver engaging technology curriculum for middle school students.
* Conduct classes in a hybrid setting, with a blend of in-person and online teaching.
* Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
* Stay updated with current technology trends and incorporate them into lessons.
* Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology across various subjects.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Participate in professional development and school events.
*Qualifications:*
* A degree in Education, Technology, or a related field.
* Teaching experience required, with a strong preference for experience with middle school students.
* Proficiency in block-based programming languages like Scratch; knowledge of text-based programming is highly desirable.
* Excellent patience, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to a changing educational environment.
*Salary:*
* $15 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
