Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities: - Follow lesson plans left by the absent teacher and deliver instruction to students in a variety of subjects, including math and literacy education.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and behavior management.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
- Complete required administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and reporting any incidents or issues.
Qualifications: - Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and curriculum development.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of various ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work in different classrooms or schools as needed.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.
Note: This is a substitute position, which means that the schedule may vary depending on the needs of the school.
Substitute teachers are often called on short notice to cover for absent teachers.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.
